J. Cole has announced that his next single will be 'Nobody's Perfect' featuring Missy Elliott - the track is off of his debut album COLE WORLD: THE SIDELINE STORY - available in store and iTunes now!
Explaining why he chose Missy to feature on the track, Cole told RealTalkNY: "When I was doing the album I did two songs, 'Mr. Nice Watch' and 'Nobody's Perfect' with Missy. I did the beats, did the raps, and it reminded me of like an Aaliyah song. I thought 'Damn, I wish I had Aaliyah to sing this.'"
He continued: "So I literally snapped back to when I wanted to work with Missy about a year ago

Today is the 10 year anniversary of Aaliyah's passing and I'm sitting here reminiscing and playing music, thinking of the times we spent together, working, laughing, singing, dancing, cutting up. But really, it's not all that different from any other day because I do think about her every day.
Not on purpose, but she is my friend and that's just how I do.
