"9th Inning" Snippet and Official Art Revealed!

I love the snippet but I have to agree with FuriousD. I think Missy needs an outstanding beat like Is that yo chick, Get Contact or something really futuristic and complicated. I would even dig up some old beats from back then that nobody ever heard and use them since I'm sure they sound like 50 years in the future anyway. I think Missy and Tim held back enough with their beats and need to take us back to the future! They should take us to another planet with the sounds and beats!

Can't wait for the album! Countdown was a bit of a letdown, though I figured something was up since new music usually hits itunes on Tuesdays... Will reserve judgement until the whole song is released, but if that is the hook, this leaves a bit to be desired. Simplistic beat, non melodic and minimal progression. Hope Tim is up to the task. We've heard better in 30 secs of some of his former timbalandthursday tracks. Sounds like a good intro track for the album but not sure this would fly as a single. Seems like the label wants mainstream success - for that we need Tim's best. Otherwise this will be good for true missy fans but idk where that leaves us on future projects. There's no other reason for continued mis-information and delays that I can think of. True that errors were made on promotions of previous albums, but those days are gone. Another delay for them to make the rounds is not going to improve potential sales. If its ready, just release it. If its good, it'll sell and word will spread via social media - the same avenue we've been teased on this release for so long now. -cautiously optomistic-

I'm disappointed in the 2nd delay of the full songs your supposed to be dropping...Triple Threat??????? 9th inning builds up to nothing!!!...Timbaland is my favorite producer of all time though and always will be...please give us the FULL version of triple threat because all the wait for "9th inning" was overhyped big time!! I Still love you Missy!! just saying what others wont
